Digital Design
For me digital design is anything made more for viewing on a computer screen, which is outside the realms of the internet. Below you will find a selection of my 3D, CAD and video based work.
3D Modelling
Since my days studying at the University of Kent I have used a variety of 3D modelling software. Primarily these have been AutoDesk 3Ds Max and Rhino 3D, however I also have experience in AutoDesk Maya. Alongside these I have used plugins such as Forest Pack Pro and V-Ray for Rhino.
2D CAD
I have many years experience creating CAD plans using Rhino 3D, however, since moving to the AutoDesk platform in 2015, my CAD skills have gone to another level.
I mainly created the CAD plans for the purpose of plotting out play areas, installation plans and for calculating accurate ground works and safer surfacing required.
Video Editing
I am frequently the one at parties and events carrying my camcorder and GoPro. I love capturing and editing videos to see the pleasure on peoples faces when the moments are relived.
Visual Effects
I always describe working with Adobe After Effects as creating the video equivalent of a Photoshop image manipulation. It’s a fantastic tool for creating special effects, animations and adding some 3D parallax motion to images.
